As is often the case when new clients contact us, Acorn’s previous IT management provider was providing a subpar service. Their digital systems were complicated, prone to outages and each individual system was disjointed from the other and frankly, the service was overpriced.

Providing simple, straightforward IT management shouldn’t cost the earth and should definitely meet the criteria of ‘functioning on a daily basis.’ So our team stepped in to provide a complete overhaul of Acorn’s IT Management.

Our engineers installed a completely new network with fibre internet connectivity and much needed firewalls for security. We replaced failing analogue CCTV with IP CCTV and installed new VoIP solutions.

We also implemented a Disaster Recovery Plan, which ensures there are contingencies in place in the event of cyber attacks or security breaches. No one plans or expects to use a Disaster Recovery Plan, but if ever you need one you’ll be glad it’s there, so we always advocate having one.

We updated Acorn’s digital infrastructure and brought the systems into the 2020s all while saving Acorn around 75% of their original IT running costs. We’re proud of how this project came together and glad we could provide the Acorn team with the security and usability their business needs and deserves.
